The following events that the EBeBP offer to East Berkshire
schools tend to the requirements of managing finances within
today's economic climate. Having financial capability is relevant
to all career paths and employment circumstances.
Please keep in mind that the EBeBP offers the flexibility to
tweak any aspects to suit your school's needs. Contact us and we'll see what we can come up
with: we are very happy to work with you to develop something
different and new!
This challenge helps students get to grips with the
finances required when buying, running and maintaining a car.
Students work in teams, researching the purchase of a car that best
suits a person in a given scenario. The event includes a
presentation by a specialist from the motor vehicle industry.
Buying a house is a daunting process. House Wise aims to
introduce students to the fundamental aspects that need to be
considered when purchasing a home: budgeting, mortgages, legal
requirements, surveying. Professionals from estate agencies,
solicitors and financial service providers offer an introduction to
each of their industries.
