History

The East Berkshire Education Business Partnership, commonly known as the EBeBP, formed as a local charity in 2007 through an amalgamation of three existing Education Business Partnerships within Berkshire.

As an independent organisation, set up to facilitate links between education and local business within East Berkshire, our funding comes from school membership charges, revenue from workshops, and corporate sponsorship. All of our profits go back into the programmes we deliver, ensuring a continuing high standard of resources and delivery.

The EBeBP covers a geographical area that stretches from Langley through Slough, Windsor, Maidenhead, parts of Burnham, Ascot, Bracknell, Crowthorne and Sandhurst. Within these areas we place over 5,000 students from 35 secondary schools and colleges per year on work experience into businesses and organisations.

We also work in local schools to deliver primary STEM workshops, enterprise and personal development training for students, as well as Continuing Professional Development opportunities for staff.

Through all of our activities we reach in excess of 30,000 students in East Berkshire every year.

Quality Assured by the NEBPN and as a recognised Investor in People, the EBeBP delivers a high quality service and has an outstanding record of developing long-lasting and effective links between employers and the education sector.
